Dr Gordon is a specialist General Practitioner who has undergone further training to be an Accredited Skin Cancer doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He has completed postgraduate studies in the fields of child health, dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Dr Gordon first completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Wollongong before moving north to the Gold Coast to study Medicine at Griffith University. Dr Gordon completed his internship and residency at the Gold Coast University Hospital before moving to far north Queensland to complete his General Practice Fellowship including extended skills training in the field of skin cancer.
Now settled back in the Illawarra, Dr Barney wants to provide the local community with a high quality skin clinic. He enjoys serving the local community and working with patients to create a treatment plan.
Barney understands that life in the Illawarra involves time in the sun. He is married with 3 young children and spends his weekends on the water be it fishing, surfing, stand up paddle boarding or windsurfing. He also competes in triathlons and rides mountain bikes when time allows. He is an avid gardener and amatuar bee keeper.
